Clay Optimizer is available on the Chrome Web Store. Simply search for "Clay Optimizer" and click "Add to Chrome". After installation, you'll need to sign in with your account to start optimizing your Clay.com tables.
The extension reads your table structure, column names, and enrichment types directly from Clay.com. For basic analysis, everything is processed locally in your browser. For AI-powered insights, only table metadata (not actual data) is sent to our secure servers.
The extension requires: activeTab to read table structure, storage for authentication tokens, scripting to inject analysis scripts, and host permissions for app.clay.com. These are necessary for the extension to function properly.
Yes, we prioritize data security. All transmissions use HTTPS encryption, authentication is handled by Supabase, and we never store your actual table data. Analysis is performed in real-time and results are not stored. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
You can perform up to 100 analyses per day. This helps ensure fair usage across all users and maintains service quality. The limit resets daily at midnight UTC.
Yes, you can use basic analysis features without AI processing. This option is available in the extension settings. Basic analysis processes everything locally in your browser without sending any data to external services.
You can access your account settings through the extension popup. Here you can view your usage statistics, manage authentication, and update your preferences. If you need to delete your account, please contact support.
Make sure you're on a Clay.com domain (app.clay.com). The extension only works on Clay.com pages. If you're still having issues, try refreshing the page or reinstalling the extension. Check that you're signed in to your account.
